Aeroplane Theory Courses
Townsville Flight Training provides training and assessment of this accredited qualification for TAFE Queensland RTO 0275 who will award this qualification/statement of attainment. CPL and PPL Theory courses are run independently in order to best suit student needs. All course notes and accessories are available from Townsville Flight Training. The commercial course dates are listed below. The private theory courses are offered on a "as needed" basis. We also offer "one on one" personal theory tuition. CPL Theory Course Content
The full time theory courses run for 12 weeks, Mon to Fri.
Private tuition is available 7 days a week. Prior bookings are essential and is dependent on availability.
Aircraft General Knowledge - 6 days
Aerodynamics - 8 days
Meteorology - 9 days
Navigation - 9 days
Air Law - 9 days
Ops Performance & Planning - 9 days
Human Factors & Limitations - 5 days
TAFE - Diploma of Aviation (Aeroplane)
The course is 9 months full time including all theory and flying (Mon - Fri). We are now taking enrollments for TAFE courses. Please contact the school for more information.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also offered under TAFE and may reduce the overall time taken to complete the course. Please contact the school for more information.
